Summary: I really enjoyed the Palm TX, but it had a couple downsides. The battery is not replaceable by me. I also don't like Palm's OS as much as Windows mobile, there's a lot less apps (free ones) for it. So I gave it to my dad and bought the iPAQ 111.
Summary: I am so glad that I bought a hard case for my palm. After 1 1/2 years the palm is undamaged through all of my packing it around and an occasional drop. I use my palm for music when I walk/run, you cannot close the case with headphones in the palm nor can you hear the music very well if you close the...
Summary: I have a separate review for the , so I will just review the Hard Case. If you're getting this case with the Palm TX, then you'll find it to be just okay. Pros: - definitely protects your TX from hard impacts.
Summary: I've bought Palm/Handspring products for years and never had a problem with a unit not working right out of the box. This time around, the first two units shipped were defective. I really like the product, but getting one that worked was a frustrating experience: 9 hours of charging 3 units, another...
Summary: Nice to have a palm pilot with a bigger screen. My eyes are getting weaker and it really helps. Very fast processor. The bluetooth is a bit limited. I can hot sync without cables pretty quick. However, could not get my nice Motorola bluetooth headphones to pair with the TX.
Summary: I have mixed feelings about the Palm T/X. I have it working perfectly now after a good deal of hacking. I have been using Palm ever since it originally came on the market. The apps for which Palm is known for (calendar, todos, etc.) work great. Documents To Go (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) work great.
Summary: I decided it was time for an upgrade from my Z22 to a palm pilot with more features. First I bought a Tungsten E2 at an on-line store and it turned out to be defective. I returned it and got my money back and went to a local Best Buy and bought another one. It too turned out to be defective.
Summary: The hard case is nice looking. It is difficult to open and I am sure after a significant amount of use it will stop working. It is awkward to try to hot sync while it is in the case. It is hard to tell the front from the back but the Pilot will only go in the case in one direction.
Conclusion: A pesar de estar discontinuada y de ser un poco lenta, me resulta útil para lo que yo la necesito: disponibilidad de datos, lectura y edición de textos, conexión wi-fi y otras prestaciones...en un aparato bastante económico.
