  • Summary: I have been using a palm m130 for years until it suddenly stopped working after three years. So of course I bought another one right away on eBay. I have a bad memory so I can write anything I want to remember on the screen AND set a date and time to remind me. It has an address book that stores all of my contacts with email addresses too. It also has a TO DO LIST which comes in handy.

This is my third generation of Palm. I'm a 15 years user of Palm technology. Easy to replace and synchornize database. I did not find an smart phone being so useful than a palm. I put my smartphone asaide and still using Palm flexibility.

Awesome Product! Great value for the money!

  • Summary: Before purchasing the Palm M130,for the past 10 years I have been using the Palm M125. I have been mainly using it as an address book. Even though I have an Iphone, I still prefer keeping things separate by using the Palm. What I like about the Palm M130 is that it is in color, whereas the Palm M125 I currently have is in black and white. I am pleased and satisfied using both the Palm M125, and with my new purchase of the Palm M130.

Palm handheld

debilu2010, Ebay
7 July 2010
  • Summary: I have had a Palm handheld for many years and I greatly enjoy them. I use my Palm for many different uses - mainly the calendar, calculator and some games. I love it! I bought this new one for an older friend who wants to try to use the calendar to keep her appointments. I just hope she can learn to use it at her age... I thought the service was great- I bought something and it wasn't what I wanted so I was able to return it without a problem.

  • Summary: I had purchased a Zire about 4 years ago and it was starting to wear out-use it constantly to store phone #s passwords etc-wanted to upgrade to color .I got a great deal on a used palm m130 on EBAY -only about $50 dollars and better yet was able to get a 3 year waaranty for only about 9 dollars. positives-color is very clear, small size, reasonable price, does every thing I need negatives-I have monopoly on my palm. notice that games tend to drain battery fairly quickly.

AWESOME STARTER PDA

cndmercantile, Ebay
9 April 2006
  • Summary: My Husband has used a Palm M130 for about 4 years & could not be happier with it. He stated that he has not encountered any of the downfalls that other reviewers have mentioned in the past with lost data or short battery life. He did however say that the item could have had more onboard memory, but when he added a 128mb memory card to the pda that he then had more than enough memory to do all of the required tasks that he needed the pda for.

Palm M130

Consumer Democracy
2 April 2004
  • Summary: This is the first PDA I have used. Although I wasn't sure how useful it would be, it has become almost indispensible. I use it as a calendar, to store phone numbers and names, as a traveling alarm clock, as a pocket watch, to securely store many passwords and account names, and to show photographs. It is possible to enter phone numbers and names on the palm itself, but much easier to enter using a keyboard and the palm desktop software.
  • Pros: difficult to use in bright sunlight, difficult to enter information directly into the palm
  • Cons: difficult to use in bright sunlight, difficult to enter information directly into the palm
