Excerpt: Before its time, but average at everything. Uses a resistive touch steen (i.e. use your fingernails or the provided stylus), yet was made for finger touch so the UI is incredibly clumsy. Its version of the Maemo OS was quickly abandoned for whatever N900 was using, so development-wise the...
Summary: I like the 4" LCD Screen and that it has US Maps, but I dont like that it has no GSM, since you have to carry your phone as well as this PDA. I bought it primarly for my car for GPS, since it comes with a CAR holder, which is really nice. Also the 4.1" LCD looks good in small car, like Honda Civic. Thats about it, also all Nokia Products are really AWESOME!!!
Summary: I bought the N810 because I don't have a smart phone but wanted something that I could use to check email and web without when I am away from computer - This device does make it easy to view the web, however, pages load slowly. The nice thing is that if I am on personal travel and have wifi access in hotel, I can bring this along instead of laptop to check email.
Summary: The Nokia 810 is a lovely looking gadget and goes great with my growing collection of doorstops. If it was a phone as well then it would be be challenging for honours. However, for some reason those boffins at Nokia HQ thought it would be best to leave this essential bit of kit off. It has a nice slide action, which reveals a gorgeous keyboard. Not great for typing on, but looks great.
Summary: The Nokia N810 is a well proportioned Internet tablet including inbuilt WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS, 2GB memory and a microSD slot. The build quality is very good and it feels sturdy in your hands. Sliding the QWERTY keyboard feels a little bit flimsy but not as part as the likes of the O2 XDAs, the keys are very flat and hard though which is a disappointment as it can become frustrating when you want to write a long email.
Pros: Portable, compact device
Cons: Not well implemented and lacks phoning capabilities
