Summary: We have had such good performance from this unit that we purchased an identical one to expand our business. Only needed to replace battery once in 4 years. Unit is quick to reset and easy to navigate. Syncs readily and recharges quickly.
Summary: I bought the IPAQ because it offered synchronized functions with MS Outlook on my PC. The synch worked OK, but I soon regretted the purchase. Working with the tiny stylus on a tiny soft keyboard image was tedious in the extreme, and THEN the battery stopped keeping its charge. Bought a new battery.
Summary: IPAQ HX2490B SERIES POCKET PC SYSTROHS COMPLIANT The versatile HP iPAQ hx2490 Pocket PC series delivers performance, connectivity, and enhanced security to suit your business and personal needs.
Excerpt: This PDA is very good at being a mobile office, but lacks the ability to be flexible in other applications. As a glider pilot, I use a PDA to navigate and log my flights. The HP iPaq can be a bit of a beast in the way of running other applications than those pre installed, but it will.
Excerpt: iPaking with a Punch ================ I have had my iPak for about 2 years. At first I had difficulty switching over from using a written filofax to the iPaq. The beauty is that the calendar diary on this is absolutely fantastic, it remembers, and it lets you know when you need to do something.
A good pocket PC, though there are better out there, buy if you can get cheap.

Excerpt: I brought this product as a refurbished, off ebay, for £180. It isn't the thinest of devices, or the lightest, but it will do. The screen is big enough, and it has all the right features, WLAN, Bluetooth etc. There are a few glitches in it though.
