Summary: My Handspring is an important part of my day to day data tracking. The Hnddspring makes that easy and convenient, can't say enough good about it. Even though this unit is not the latest and greatest, it covers my needs and performs with style.
Though out-of-date, the Handspring still performs well and serves a purpose

Summary: Granted, this is obsolete technology now but this product has always been a pleasing one for me. I am on my second Handspring now and, for what I require, it works wonderfully. The device makes an excellent ebook reader when dealing with text-only files and has enough capacity to allow you to carry several books around with you at any given time.
Summary: Helps keep track of all you can. No more little black books. Small enough to take anywhere fitting comfortably in your hands. Can purchase expandable memory also or game cartridges. I love it.
Summary: I use this handspring Platinum to help me control my diabetes. I love it. it has helped my more than any other diabetic product out there. It also helps me with weight control and keeping track of everything I eat. I would not want to live with out it.
Summary: Looks and works like it is brand new. No marks at all on the unit that I could fine. Also came with a leather carrying case that was not listed that made the deal even better. I still use this device to keep track of passwords for my work.
Summary: Well, it's not cutting edge. But I have used one for years and had to replace it because it got damaged. Easy, intuitive, runs Palm OS and software, plus the Springboard module allows for a lot of plug-n-play modules. As long as you can live without color screen, built in phone, etc., this makes for a very useful tool.
Excerpt: "So one day I lost my palm pilot and someone told me to buy a Visor. So I looked on the website www.handspring.com and thought for a long time on which one to get. Eventually it was between the cheapest one and the platinum and I thought they looked very similar. So I bought the platinum as I was surfing on QXL.com one day and saw one, bid for it and won. I am now the proud owner of a platinum and I love it. Is it better than the palm? Well its ...
Pros: well protected, the pen never falls out, you can upgrade it .
Cons: it doesnt feel as solid as the palm, feels a bit more plasticy
Excerpt: A Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) is perhaps one of the most useful bits of electronic kit that anyone could ever own and you could do a lot worse than the Handspring Visor Platinum. As well as doing all the usual stuff that you can do with any Palm OS based PDA it also has a few unique features. Firstly the hot sync cradle connects to your computer via a USB cable. This allows much faster transfers than the slow serial link that comes with the Palm computers.
Excerpt: "...a PDA yet, then the Handspring Visor Platinum could well be worth a look. At around £249, it's not the cheapest PDA on the market (Handspring themselves produces models starting at £100) but it still represents great value for money. It's 8MB of memory is enough to store all of your addresses, contacts, memos etc., and even if it's not you could plug in another 8MB using the "springboard" modules available. (Modules also include games, digital ...
