Excerpt: I wanted a PDA for some time, because its like a laptop but smaller and more efficient, especially for somebody like me who has probably has the worst short term memory and is hence completely dependent on technology.
Excerpt: A Girlie Point of View! Ok, so I am a girlie writing about something electronic. But I felt my Dell Axim 5 had to be written about. My husband had told me that he had bought me a combined birthday and Christmas present and that it was going to be delivered the next day.
Excerpt: Introduction First of all before you buy a pda you have to decide between Palm OS or Pocket PC. Palm OS is usually easy to use, they weight much less and of course they are more affordable. Some Palm OS models feature build in digital camera's and other features that Pocket PC models don't have.
Excerpt: you won't be unhappy with this pda. My only word of caution is that if size is really important in the sense that you need something small, you're not going to love this unit. but if you need to do writing or spread sheets you will.
Pros: great screen, fabulous software, accessible customer service, usually kind
Excerpt: warning!! - i did copy this review from the site noted in the comments. when i submitted this i did not know that it was not allowed. all the work i submit now is entirly my own work. thanks. graham Dell Computer Corp.
Excerpt: I just got my Axim about a month ago, upgrading from my Palm device and the first thing that struck me was the overall design - it’s a sexy little beast. The PDA itself is a sleek silver colour, black sides with function buttons that are etched and so won’t fade.
