Summary: Seems to work well for an older Pocket pc/PDA. I have figured out most of its regular functions without problem. But cant figured out how to go online with it? Wifi is a new concept to me and instruction book is not clicking with my brain or lack there of. I have seen from checking on the net others in the past have had issues figuring it out as well.

Summary: I'd say that this item is good for the price, that's what Dell is known for (craftsmanship for an appropriate price), however, this device isn't the normal PDA...it's above and beyond. You may be wondering why I titled my review the way I did and why I just rated the device average if I claim it to be "above and beyond" -- because it is, for a PDA. Apparently Dell claims this to be a "Pocket PC", far from it my friend.
Summary: I purchased the Axim as an alternative way to check emails and do light browsing while not having to boot up a pc. The Axim has worked fairly well for me. My largest grievance with the Axim is that it takes an incredible amount of time to find my wireless network. I would think that it would easily find the last network that it went online with but, no it searches for every other possibility first. Once it does find my WiFi network it does admirably.
