Summary: I was able to restore my old iPAQ to look and work like new. By using parts from this one on my unit. The job does take a very steady hand and some of the right tools and at the right price this was well worth it to me.
Summary: These are awesome - I reccomend them to everyone. I don't really remember what kinda questions I had before I bought these. Lets see. Yes they are color- You can hook gps up to them and wifi and bluetooth. You can put microsoft reader, adobe reader and ereader on them. They have a spot for sd cards for more space - windows media player is on there as well as windows photo gallery. You can play games, change themes, check email and pretty much do anything on them.
Summary: Well It needed new battery. As some of you know on Ebay Lithium battery life is about 3 years. This is if you use the battery or not . I also got battery from ebay. Very easy to install. Item works great. The next thing I had to do was upgrade from PC2002 to PC2003. Again very easy to do. With a old Wifi PCMCIA card I had Orinco Gold. I had it wireless. There is a lot of software that is on the next for this device.
Summary: I bought the iPAQ used, and found it to be well worth the purchase price. I have had other PDA's but this one is a bit easier to use, and currently fits my needs for size, features and utility. It seems to be fairly rugged, and the battery life is good, easily over 2 hrs..( I havent run it past that yet.)I am satisfied with its performance, but wished it came with Wifi.. Maybe the next purchase will fulfill that wish.
PPC2002 = Average, PPC2003 = Excellent! It's all good.

Summary: I've only owned one PDA before this one and that was the Palm M105. It was nice but unfortunately I was plagued like many others by the dead internal battery. So I finally decided that an upgrade was in order. Although, I guess since the 3900 series came out in about 2002, it isn't really much of an upgrade. But compared to the m105 it is like stepping 100 years into the future. Unfortunately it took a few weeks of messing with it to get it exactly where I wanted.
Summary: Bought an ipaq to experiment with data gathering on my job. The idea of being able to enter data directly into MS excel and upload it to my desktop for monitoring was going to make my life easier. I never expected how much I would enjoy the unit off the job as well. My wife liked it so much that she had me pick her up a PDA as well. I found a rx2115 ipaq for her and she loves it. The 3955 is a rugged little unit.
Summary: Started with the IPAQ 3670 which I still use but I don't know for how long. I'm enjoying the 3955s sd card slot, adding movies, music, and some books without the need of a expansion pack. With the built in remote program there's a lot more space on the coffee table. Theres even room in the Ipaq file store to put files to save them if you where to lose power. Although there is no integrated wifi, there are sdio cards that could easily remedy the problem.
