The BlackBerry Tour 9630 is a 112x62x14.2mm/130g smartphone that supports a 256MB internal Flash memory with expandable memory via a microSD located under the battery door cover. It is powered by a 1400-mAh removable/rechargeable cryptographic lithium cell. It also features a 35-key backlit QWERTY keyboard, high resolution HVGA 480×360 pixel display, a 3.2-MP camera with flash and auto focus; assisted, autonomous and simultaneous GPS enabled with preloaded BlackBerry Application for e911 capabilities; a Media Player that supports MPEG4 video format and MP3/AAC/AAC+ music format. The 9630 also has Bluetooth V2.0; mono/stereo headset, hands-free, PBAP; a 3.5-mm stereo headset capable and USB Port for charging and high-speed data synchronization via USB “A” to micro USB “B” cable. The BlackBerry Tour 9630 is a Quad band GSM 850/900/1800/190032100 MHz, GPRS/EDGE, UMTS/HSPA 800/1900 MHz and CDMA/EVDO Rev A networks.

The BlackBerry Tour 9630 provides users with world phone capability on 3G network and has a full-featured phone that functions like desktop letting users send and receive text and picture messages on-the-go. Whether AOL Mail, Gmail, Windows Live or Yahoo! Mail, users can access web mail from the smartphone. The device also supports web mail that lets users open popular document and graphic attachments such as JPEG, ADOBE® PDF and Microsoft® Word, Excel and PowerPoint files. It also lets them edit Microsoft® Word, Excel and PowerPoint file on the phone, features instant messaging like Windows® Live Messanger, Google Talk, Yahoo! Messanger, AOL instant Messanger or ICQ application; and provides access to social networking sites such as Facebook, Flickr Photo updater and MySpace for BlackBerry. The phone also features a 3.2-megapixel camera with image stabilization, auto focus, auto flash, and 2x digital zoom. It also supports geo-tagging capabilities, built in video recording, BlackBerry MediaSync that lets users sync the phone with a desktop’s iTunes music files and allows them to access music, videos, and sports clips from web sites for mobile streaming. The 9630 also features BlackBerry App World that lets users access its storefront and personalize the smartphone with games, personal productivity applications and more.
