Summary: I did not bought this drill on amazon I bought it 6 years ago in home depot it was on special and included a 4 ½" grinder and a plastic case . the main reason for this acquisition was the grinder the drill was a plus . I do tile work so I used the grinder a lot but since they are together in the case I brought the drill to every tile job, sometimes I forget my super heavy duty mud mixing drill so I used this drill to mixed mud ( small quantities of course, ¼ of a bag or...
Summary: The first time I tried to use this drill was to put some holes in a pickup truck track to secure it to the bed rail. The titanium 1/2 inch bit kept slipping, as the keyless chuck could not tighten it enough. I have returned this, and will get a keyed chuck drill.
I love it, although not 100% as advertised. Made in USA!

Summary: I absolutely love this drill. Admittedly, I used it on one occasion, to drill a 1/2" diameter hole through a solid brick wall, and then to drill multiple (maybe 8 or 9) 3/8" diameter pilot holes for masonry screws. With new bits, the drill cut through the wall in 10 seconds or less. This drill is VERY powerful for the money. It's 6 amps. To put that in perspective, I have a Skil hammer drill that I got as a hand-me-down from my grandfather.
VERY FLIMSY PLASTIC DESIGN NO METAL HAMMER-GEAR BOX
3 July 2012
Summary: Way too much plastic for durability. While it has a keyless chuck and hammer drill feature the gear box should be all metal for durability. I've purchased way too many electric drills that would last several months of use only to fail due to quality issues such as this. I am sending it back as I don't want to get stuck down the road. I want a commercial quality drill that will last for at least several years.
Summary: Works great for jobs that require lots of power. However, when I am using it with my right hand, sometimes the knuckle of my thumb hits the lock button when I don't mean for it to. Maybe I just have knobby thumbs.
