Summary: I was working on a backyard pond project when I discovered large pieces of concrete buried about 2 feet underground (old foundation). I rented this tool from a local hardware store. It seems to weigh about 55 Lbs. with chisel bit. This tool had no problems breaking through 8" concrete.
Summary: When I ordered this hammer I was skeptical if I would like it because of the weight. Upon arrival I thought I had made a huge mistake in ordering it. The case was significantly larger then the case for the 26lb Demo hammer that I typically carry.
Summary: Did it meet my expectation? It sure did. Good investment. Sure beats pounding with a sledge hammer. If you can afford it, yes buy it. I bought 3 chiseles for different projects but the one that works best for you, or just buy 3 from the get-go
