Summary: Spent 2 days trying to drill 6 holes in very hard brick for awning to no avail. Bought this drill and within 30mins job done, never had a good drill before but can not put down, drilling holes all round the house.
Summary: Great quality drill. good power to weight ratio. Has all the features and very solidly built. Bought it to replace a Bosch professional one which broke. Am replacing my Bosch tools with De Walt one by one.
Summary: Bought this drill as I needed a powerful drill and my cordless just wasn't up to it, Used it to drill 14mm anchor holes on concrete and it smashed through it like butter, Also the Roto stop is excellent for chiselling but be warned it does get quite warm if used continuously , ( I used for an hour to break up some concrete and tarmac ) Overall for my first sds drill its excellent and ideal for a DIY er ,
Summary: I've managed to break 3 hammer drills putting curtain rails up and drilling into our lintels. The DeWalt D25013N-GB 2kg SDS+ Hammer Drill 240V went in like a knife through butter. I still put it up wonky because I'm rubbish but the holes where nice and easy to drill. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Summary: Superb value and smooth as silk. Well constructed and a major step up from a standard percussion hammer drill. Good features and also light weight to use. Being light weight don't expect to be able to use it as a heavy breaker all day long but as a general drill it is fantastic for light to medium use. Strongly recommended.
Summary: Bought this drill 8 days ago, have only drilled a few 8mm holes and chased out small areas for conduit. This drill has great power and is a nice comfortable drill to use with good features. Unfortunately though the drill started to throw green grease out the casing from the gearbox after around 10 minutes use from cold. So I have returned this drill and taken another model which is a bit more expensive.
Summary: I have a DeWalt cordless which is great for general use but struggles in brick and stone. I bought this for fixing gates and fences to brick and concrete. I didn't appreciate that I needed to buy new drill bits (SDS) but the Erbauer set was inexpensive and the result was amazing. It really was like a hot knife in butter. I am very impressed - and a little bit scared :). A wholehearted recommendation.
Summary: Nice bit of kit on the whole but I had a few issues with the side handle which I loosened to adjust but which then refused to tighten. The nut inside the plastic was just spinning and not latching onto the thread - not the sort of quality you expect from DeWalt! However, managed to get it changed and I will not be moving the new side handle! The drill works a treat, though. I've used it on a few jobs already and it makes easy work of drilling through brick and suchlike.
Summary: This drill i have bought is to replace the one i bought about 5 years ago. It has done everything i have asked of it. It has coped with drilling many 100mm holes whilst installing boiler flues.Paid over 100 pound for my last one so when i saw it on offer i bought it straight away.
