Summary: I have been using Gillette Fusion shaving products for far more years than I care to remember. My previous razor was the Fusion Power and I considered this to be unbeatable. However, having damaged its on/off switch I was sourcing a replacement on Amazon and in doing so I found I was drawn to the description of the newer version, the Fusion ProGlide Power.
Summary: £25 (£25/11 heads = £2.27 each) on Amazon seems like quite a good price -- even compared to Ebay, which I found hardly afforded any savings. The ProGlide is likely one of the best (if not THE best) razor on the market, IMO. Good: - Cuts very well: As expected, cuts facial hair without cutting skin (provided, like all razors ever, one is careful!). - Many blades per head: 5 blades (+1 tash blade), all very thin, making cutting the hair smoother.
Summary: I tired a double edged safety razor before I bought this and that just made my skin sore and did not shave well at all. I then tried this and it's the best razor I have ever used. The blades are expensive but with the clever power vibration provided by the battery in the handle the razor provides a smooth close shave with no discomfort or soreness and the blades seem to last for ages with the help of the vibration still providing a close shave.
Summary: Weirdly, I've consistently found it cheaper to buy a new razor and 11 blades than to buy replacement blades on their own. Despite this pack including a new razor, it still has always worked out cheaper per blade than buying just blades on their own. Well worth therefore checking the prices before you purchase any replacement blades.
