Summary: I like the idea of this sleek and curl flat iron, but it's got some serious design flaws. 1. It rips your hair when you use it. If your hair goes near the lower part of the ceramic end then it will pull your hair and rip some of it off. If I used this every day I'd probably be bald by now. 2.
Summary: I still think this straightener was a good purchase, even with the slight annoyance of accidentally switching it off. The price for the glossy box, instructions, dvd and the actual straightener is fair enough. I had trouble with the curling technique but honestly, I use them mostly for the straightening. It does leave my hair smooth and shiny, better than buying a cheaper ceramic model, I've used them before.
Summary: The product has one big flaw for me! Although it heats up really quickly, it is not a product you could use every day without damaging your hair. It does say that it is for occassional use, but I only knew this after buying it. So from that aspect I am very dissappointed for the price. The appliance itself is easy enough to use & your selected heat setting can be locked to stop accidental pressing of the setting.
Summary: It is a nice medium sized hair straightner with a really good instruction DVD video, it taught me a few tricks including flicking up my ends really nicely, it takes about 30 seconds to heat up my last ones took only 6 seconds, they are medium sized too They arrived quickly and in a very nice presentation gift box, it locks if you want to use it as a curling tong however my lock and unlock signs have rubbed off even though ive ONLY used them ONCE that was disappointing...
Summary: if you are bored with straight hair as I am, give these a try. In a household of 3 females, we put straightners etc throught there paces! These are an excellent replacement for Ghd's as they straighten just as well and with a little practise give hair a nice soft bouncy look (like in the mags). We found the dvd a fun way to learn how to create different styles, the temperature ajustment is great as everyone has different hair.
Summary: I found the Sleek and Curl was fine for straightening hair but didn't think it was so good for curling. The curl that it created was fairly random, more difficult to control the outcome than say with a hotbrush or curling tongs or even heated rollers. It seemed to give a mass of random curls that was a bit too much and rather fake looking, then after half an hour they dropped and seemed more natural.
Fantastic set of straightners at a reasonable price

Summary: First impressions are important and in that deaprtment this set of straighters shines brightly, with it's quality gift box, DVD and carry case....oh and of course the straightners looks good as well :) The straightners are extremelly easy to use (as you might expect if you have used them before) just set the desired temperature using the well labeled buttons and away you go, and with second heat up, that won't take long at all :) As advertised, this set of straightners...
Summary: very handy and not heavy to hold however on and off button is situated at the top of the handle and when handling the straightener it is very easy to press power off. Plates are quite small too. Otherwise very good product.
