Very Good!

AmyBat, Amazon
7 May 2012
  • Summary: I have had this straightener for about 4 months now and it is very good, i have naturally very curly hair and it can get quite frizzy with other straightening irons but these leave a nice soft smooth finish to your hair. A couple of things though that are not so good it that often when using them, you accidently turn them off/down as the buttons are in the middle but with care it can be avoided, also the metal strip on the top of them can become quite hot and the logo...

CANT believe the raving reviews

G. Khanom "shaney", Amazon
4 November 2011
  • Summary: Initially the plates were advertised as ceramic but that has been altered when I looked last. They are ceramic coated the black plate colour in picture makes it v misleading. Do not be bought in by the title description I cant believe people are saying they substituted and replaced their GHD's with this..... Beacuse I cant even replace my 37pounds SHE straighteners with these and they are not boiling straighteners...

Out standing

Mr. Ca Byrne "C Byrne", Amazon
22 March 2009
  • Summary: I ordered two of these products, one for each of my daughters. After having various types of straighteners when they received this product they were absolutly amazed by the speed they heat up and the tempreture they get to. All round they say they as good as GHD's that some of there pals have got.

Heavy But Worth-It

Sakina, Amazon
15 February 2009
  • Summary: Its not quite the GHD but its a worthy substitute. My hair is thick and wavy, and on the highest heat setting I found that the straightener easily glided allowing my hair to be smooth sleek and most important of all, straight! My only con is that it is quite heavy which is annoying, but if its the diamonds that are weighing it down, I'm not complaining! I would recommend this product to anyone with a budget of £30, think Superdrug.

Excellent straighteners - recommend

H. Stephens, Amazon
30 May 2008
  • Summary: I have had an awful cheap pair for years and decided to 'upgrade' but didn't want to buy GHD's. I have chin length layered fine hair and they work brilliantly on them. For this price I can't complain.

As good as GHDs.

Mr. R. Patel "Rish89", Amazon
15 April 2008
  • Summary: they're as good as their rival, and this product being the cheaper one, i don't see why you wouldn't buy it.. it manages to straighten shortish (boys) hair. heats up quickly and the tongs are pretty slim. delivery took some time however, but was worth the wait.

good - until I dropped it!

nan787, Amazon
6 April 2008
  • Summary: This product is really gud no matter what hair type you have. Whilst I had it, it heated up quickly but wasn't as easy to use for ppl with short hair. All in all the hair straightener was really gud, untill that is, when I accidentally dropped it. Mind you that was the 10th time I had dropped it and it was bound to break.

Bad design on/off button

Angel, Amazon
14 February 2008
  • Summary: I bought these straightners for my daughter for Christmas and they are very good except for the on/off switch which is right where you hold the straightner when using it, therefore, as it is a light touch button, you keep switching it off accidentally while you are using it which is extremely frustrating. I think I will have to buy her some new ones.

Snip and snag

fairy thing, Amazon
27 January 2008
  • Summary: My mother bought these on sale for around £30... Upon trying them, I instantly felt my hair being pulled out and my hair went really static :( I gave up on them eventually and bought a BaByliss instead, and we gave the Phillips Tresemme one to my sister... A year later and her hair is so damaged it's probably falling out! She still insists she loves the straightener but personally, I think it's awful.

Better than GHD!

Amazon
5 January 2008
  • Summary: Who would pay £100 for GHD when they can get this superior product for £20? Only a follower of fashion! Seriously though, there is no contest! Buy these every time!
