Excerpt: Ordered this little gem online and got it in the mail yesterday. Played with it for 5 hours straight - couldn't keep my hands off it. Not sure why others wouldn't gig with this thing. I plugged it straight into my mixer board and it sounds awesome thru the PA.
Pros: Durable, Excellent Craftsmanship, Great Intonation, Great Sound, Highly Responsive
Summary: Really can't get over how good this sounds! I have to be honest and say I sometimes spend more time trying to get a good sound than I actually do playing my guitar. However, with this magic box I was able to create 5 quality tones (and save them in the presets bank) pretty much straight out of the...
Summary: I think this is a great little amp. The sound is really good at low levels (if practicing at night). I was looking for a good clean sound in a small amp, and I'm really pleased with both that and the higher gain settings on this amp.
Summary: After owning the amazing THR5 for six months I decided to upgrade to the THR 10. The extra outlay is definitely worth it. Better bass, bigger sound, acoustic/bass amp fx and the ability to store sounds directly to the THR. This is the perfect home amp/recording package.
Summary: A wide variety of sound and it looks great too. The ability to connect the amp to my PC via the supplied USB cable means I can use the THR software to adjust the sounds even more than the top panel controls allow, and I can now record my dubious playing. Awesome.
Summary: this is probably the best practice tool you could own. with a 2 year old and 2 month old babies, practicing had become almost impossible in my house, except for unplugged. its really easy to use and once you've dialed in your sounds you don't want to stop playing.
Summary: Easily the best sounding practise amp I've ever owned. Actually made me play more because of the sheer sound quality coming out of this thing. The THR Editor works fantastically well and I even recorded using the Steinberg software.
Summary: My initial thoughts- -Clean sound is forgiving compared to a valve amp. Well built, great looking. Impressive stereo imaging. Good for rock music but it's not going to replace monitors and a subwoofer. -The low end is fine for electric guitar.
