Summary: I can't say enough good things about this little amplifier. I've used it for keyboards, vocals and guitar; its sound is nice and clean and plenty loud for a range of situations. And if you have never owned a battery-powered amp, you'll be surprised at how liberating it can be -- no need to set up near an electrical outlet. I have only one tiny complaint.
Summary: This is the perfect amp for my musical project, which also involves electric guitar, viola, and cello. it gives the vocals just the boost they need. i just wish the cord was sold with the amp, instead of having to purchase the cord separately. (the cord was one third the cost of the amp!) I was happy with the prompt delivery and the price of the amp, as well as the sound quality. My bandmate uses the same amp for his guitar and is equally pleased with the product.
Summary: I was shopping for a small, portable amp to help adding sound to our presentations in a small room. Looked at various products and could not decide as they were looking cheap and fragile. Until I found in the musical instruments section various cubes. I decided that this "Mobile Cube" had all the possible audio inputs while adding a bit of space with reverb and delay so I ordered it.
Summary: I recently added several toys to my collection: The Roland Mobilecube, the Vox AC4TV8 tube amp ( which I also reviewed), and the JamVox( review to come ). I have previously owned a Roland JC120 amp and this little amp sound just as good as the JC120 at low volumes. In fact, it sounds cleaner than the big amp!! The clean solid state sound of the Roland complements the tube sound of the Vox AC4TV8 very nicely.
Summary: There are many reviews on Amazon, YouTube, and Harmony Central that look at the amp as a rock and jazz amp. But this review concentrates on the Roland Mobilecube's ability to work as an ACOUSTIC GUITAR amp, so these comments are directed at the acoustic players out there looking for a clean and undistorted sound in a battery powered amp. I am a professional musician and play acoustic electric nylon string fingerstyle guitar.
Summary: This is the best little stereo battery amp I've ever owned. Currently I use NI-MI 2400mAh batteries. Lasts several hours. I use E Guitar/Clean on any electric or acoustic guitar to make my clean sound. Also use the chorus and this is really nice cuz it's in stereo. Wish I could have that same sound on my Vox AC30. I've played this outside in an open yard and it is pretty loud. I've practiced using a microphone and guitar and trully again this sounds nice.
It really does produce 5 watts of sound from 6 AA batteries. Amazing!

Summary: (1) I Used this Mobilecube several times to provided mic (instructor's voice amplification) & music amplification to a water aerobics class whose pool area is 25 yards x 4 lanes; pool is indoors. The Mobilecube is substituting for a much larger karaoke box that has stopped working, yet most class members (people in the water) thought that the karaoke box was still playing.
Awesome little amp that packs a punch but short battery life

Summary: This little amp is very cute and small but it's super loud. I use it to plug my Ipod into and play music outside in the park. I used to have Logitech speaker system for my ipod but it wasn't loud enough. The only drawback is it goes through batteries really fast. I actually just bought some rechargeable batteries for it to save money.
