Best pedal tuner on the market in my eyes!!

Bradley Potter, amazon.com
14 May 2011
  • Summary: I did allot of touring with different bands like Panic at the Disco and Johnny Rottens new band so a decent tuner is really important on tour. When you go over seas you rent allot of gear sometimes and getting something that fits into a rack isn't really practical. Most of the pedal turners used are either that crappy boss tuner or tuners that are hard to use and cost $400 on up. I had a Peterson StroboStomp2 Virtual Strobe Tuner Pedal VS-S2.

  • Summary: Pros: This is a great tuner i have had for over a year with no problems Super Bright LED display Easy to connect and use Cons: Heavy... but not to bad You have to buy a power supply because it eats batteries. the good news they use the BOSS PSA power supply which i got around 15 bucks new.

Too heavy

Erik Johnson "Creature", amazon.com
3 February 2010
  • Summary: If you like heavy, good. If you have to carry the pedal anywhere, it is just too heavy. The versatility of the tuner is very nice, along with true bypass. But how many guitarists carry just a guitar and a tuner? What about effects, an amp, sheet music, etc. Each of these adds their weight. This one is too heavy. I prefer and own the pitchblack by Roland. Almost as good and less than half the weight (and not a lightweight at that).

A pig in a poke

Markman, amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: When my trusty 20 year old Boss tuner went on the fritz I decided it was time to buy a shiny new stomp box tuner. I'm in a band that rehearse and gig regularly and our bass player had just bought a CT-04. It seemed robust, came with an attractive leather pouch and had a large, clear and easy to use display. Sold. That was about two years ago.

Perfect Tuner

Mr. Gerald Tingley "Gez Sail", amazon.co.uk
18 January 2012
  • Summary: First impressions were that it was a sturdy construction and quite heavy in relation to its size. In use I found it to be just what I wanted. Pressing the pedal mutes the guitar and the large display is easy to see even on a dark stage with the note required displayed in a large letter and an indicator giving a tuning direction. I have not played with the set up mainly because I was more than happy with its default performance. It comes with a decent pouch as well.
