  • Summary: Peavey Model Minx, Solid State, 30 watts, 10" speaker at 8 Ohms. Has 2 inputs, 1 output, 1 Stereo headphone output. 17" high x 15-1/4" wide x 11" deep. Weight: About 37 lbs. In 1986, my trusty old Peavey Combo died in Salem Oregon. And it was during an afternoon sound check in a local club. So I went around the corner to Weather's Music, and looked for a small cheap bass amp that I could temporarily use as a monitor running into mains then take home for practice.
  • Pros: Compact, great sound for the size,
  • Cons: Heavy and no longer available

  • Summary: This was my first amp. I played it during a jam session with a drummer and two guitarists that each had half stacks... The little minx was able to hold it's own against the onslaught of guitar volume. I could hear myself the whole time... That jam session was the last of that amp... but what a way to go out, right?
  • Pros: Inexpensive and Powerful
  • Cons: none
