Everything is perfect.

Summary: I was told that this pedal is one of the best boosters, so i decided to try this, and with those exellent prices i couldn't let this oportunity go. works exellent and acomplishes all my expectives.
Summary: This is the 2nd Micro Amp I've owned. I bought it to replace one I had and used regularly for 8 years. I had an Ego Booster that popped real loud when engaged. This thing engages smooth without any pops and is a great clean boost, perfect for solos. My absolute favorite boost pedal!!! It doesn't really color your sound. It just louder with maybe slightly more treble which is perfect for cutting through on a solo.
Practical and simple yet versatile, a must have for any and every guitarist

Summary: You really cant go wrong for the price and simplicity of the micro amp. It does exactly what it's supposed to and even has some unexpected positive effects on your overall rig when engaged. When disengaged it has no negative effects on your signal chain. You can use this pedal for a quick boost but that's just the beginning.
Summary: Works best in 2 locations: (1)in front of a tube amp gives a little extra gain and some volume (2) through the effects loop gives just the right amount of clean volume boost for solos without too much coloration of the tone
Summary: I've been playing in bands over 30 years and have always needed something to boost the leads up a little.this pedal works great for that. The last one i had lasted about 5 years and was abused regularly.theses are built really well and don't change your sound at all.just clean boost.i run it in the effects loop. It makes your clan sound even better. I also think the price is right. There are other brands and devices that do the same but this is the one for me.
If you want a lead boost without tone coloration, buy this!

Summary: I love it! Clean volume boost without changing tone. A couple of tips: If you're clumsy like me, don't put the rubber piece on the gain knob as it's way too easy to kick it up or down; and if you use a lot of gain already (mine stays around 9) be sure to run it through your effects loop instead of plugging straight in to it. I doesn't make any noticeable difference through the amp's input jack. Awesome pedal! Awesome price.
Summary: this MXR micro amp is the right effect for your amp it adds just the right amount of kick, and boost to your sound.I have used some others but i found out that this little pedal makes a big differents to my sound it dose not compare to anything. I have two and I use it live , and in the studio ,it,s great.
Summary: Simple and perfect! I use this on bass--I only really had one use in mind for this pedal. My effects rack is rather large and by the end of it, I have very little signal making it to the amp. With this in front of my signal path, I can make up for the lost signal and keep my tone alive from beginning to end. I recommend throwing a second booster on large effects racks.
