Summary: I have had the BF-3 for many years, among over 50 other stompboxes (including a bunch of different phasers, flangers, choruses, vibratos, tremolos, and ring modulators). The BF-3 is one of my top 3 favorites.
Summary: I really like this pedal. Its capable of a variety of sounds. I really like the added "whoosh" to my tone. I use it with a DD-7 and I think it sounds awesome. Got it used off eBay for $50. I'd easily pay $100 for it. I tried a used Ibanez analog flanger at the guitar store, it didnt even compare.
Summary: I personally don't use modeling all in one effect processors. I strictly use and collect stomp boxes. in my opinion they sound more believable. This Flanger was simply a must have and this was the best value that I found anywhere.
Summary: This pedal is an essential addition to any players pedal board. I recently added it and wondered what took me so long. It exceded my expectations. This is an awesome pedal! I have 9 pedals and 8 are Boss. I guess that would suggest Boss makes a fine product :-) Get one, you won't regret it.
Excerpt: It sounds good together with my other Boss effects units. The sound is more effective for me, especially if it is goes through the Drive Channel in my Marshall amp. it work also good in clean channel but its more effective in drive channel as what I've observe, Its kind of more detailed modulated...
Excerpt: Great sound if ur looking for crazy flanger. Lots of control over the sound. It sounds a bit better than the digitech hyper flanger in my opinon. Like most boss stompboxes the sound is a bit sterile but awesome.
Summary: Whahaha! Wat een leip apparaat! De mogelijkheden zijn eindeloos. Geweldig om net dat beetje fratsen aan je geluid krijgen, maar als je wilt wordt het helemaal een dolle boel met de gate/pan optie en de ultra mode!
