The best One watter on the market

Minyan Zhu "Jinx", amazon.com
23 December 2011
  • Summary: If you must know, this is the best 1 watt tube amp on the market as of 2011. It's transparant, chimey, glassy and very responsive to your touch. I know what you're thinking!!! 1 watt!!!? is it loud enough? honestly!!? not really loud enough to practice with a heavy handed drummer, but will do fine with low key jam sessions and chill metal riffage! did I just say chill metal riffage?!

  • Summary: Have this amp for couple days now and played couple amps on my GR570 to settle on this one. I needed a tiny one since my wife does not appreciate the volume needed on tubes to get the 'fat' tone. Ultimately, it also be plugged into my PA system to cranck the volume up. The sound shaping is nice, the two channels are nice, mp3 input is nice when playing for people, just a great package.

A huge sound from such a small package!

  • Summary: While I don't own this amp, I did have the opportunity to put my friend's amp through its paces yesterday, and I thought I'd share a few thoughts as no one else has written a review of this fantastic little practice amp. This is a 1 watt tube combo amp with an 8-inch speaker. The first thing you should know is that a 1 watt tube amp is suited for practice and small-time jam sessions only, though I suppose if you threw a mic in front of it you could play a small gig.

1watt?

  • Summary: Don't be fooled, for 1 watt in a small box this is fantastic and loud - if needed. You can have all your digital amps and think they emulate a tube amp but they do not unless very expensive. The HT-1R is the way to go for home-use. There's another range of stage amps by Blackstar which sound amazing and cost more. The HT-5c for about £100 more might do those who play live in small places but for home/studio use the HT-1R is the Star.

sehr chick!

Peter Hundert, amazon.de

  • Summary: Kann mich meinem Vorredner nur anschliessen: Macht sehr viel Spaß das Teil: überraschend früh schon druckvoll gefärbter Klang, überraschend viel Schalldruck wenn man weiter aufdreht.

  • Summary: Liten men naggande god. Ljud 8/10. MP3/Line Input fungerar behagligt bra Utseende 10/10. Riktigt bra byggda och snygga silverrattar.

Genialer kleiner Tube Amp!

real.sladdi, amazon.de
12 April 2011
