  • Summary: I bought this amp as a replacement/upgrade for my guitar sound some months ago and it sounds awsome! More watts plus larger twin classic style loudspeakers! Many stereo effects. I especially like the chorus preset No.35 parameter No.99. And it can be used with the FCB1010 midi foot controller set in V-TONE mode. Best Price!!

Behringer GMX 212

  • Summary: Awsome amp, for the money. I have been playing guitar for over 35 years, and have owned a lot of different amps in my day. And one amp just isnt enough anymore. I do a lot of recording and experamenting with sound, and this amp has plenty. This amp has (3) different amp models and a boat load of great sounding effects. This amp has a decent amount of power, and could be used in small to mid sized venues, it will get over the drums no problem.

Behringer GMX212

  • Summary: I would rate this amp very good...not excellent but very good. So good I have two of them. I used one at home for practice, recording, jamming ect. for years and found a tone I absolutely loved using a korg toneworks multi-pedal but hated digging it all out when i used it to gig with. So I bought another one as well as another korg.

Behringer V-TONE GMX212 Guitar Amp

polejams, Ebay
2 November 2010
  • Summary: Well I was looking for an amp for my bro so he could have something that sounded a lot better then what he was playing through and read a bunch of reviews on it. I have a behringer PA and it works and sounds great for small gigs, so I figured I'd try one of there amps. I was kind of skeptical about how it would sound but it sounded great. It has all kinds of affects built into it and it came with the foot switch so needless to say, another great item from Behringer!

Sound and presets are great as well as the price.

  • Summary: This amp has 99 effects presets. It has a tuner and comes with a footswitch. With the foot switch you can switch between channnels 1 and 2. This allows 1 channel to be clean and the other channel to be on overdrive with a tap of the footswitch. The tuner can also be activated through the footswitch as well. And you can have 3 amp simulations(UK,California and Tweed. And 3 mode simulations(hot,hi gain, clean)and 3 speaker simulations(US,UK,and Flat) which can be combined!

Another Behringer rip-off

G. Conner "OldSchoolSkill", amazon.com
23 February 2010
  • Summary: Behringer and Co. has made a lucrative career out of stealing other manufacturer's hard work. Behringer simply buys any innovative audio products that do well on the market, reverse-engineer a clone, send the schematics and other specs to Chinese manufacturers and order them by the cargo-load. You'll see evidence of that in this amp. The preamp section is EXACTLY like the Sansamp GT2 from Tech 21.

Behringer V-Tone GMX212 guitar amplifier

attyatlarge.1773, Ebay
15 September 2009
  • Summary: This series of amps give very good value for the buck- they have built in effects and put out a pretty nice sound. The output volume is great. I would not confuse this amp in any way with my 100 watt Marshall TSL-100, or Fender Blues DeVille, but then again, I paid 10 times more for the Marshall, and 6 times more for the Fender. These amps are pretty good- and for a really cheap price.
