Summary: I picked one of these up because I wanted a cheap combo I could leave at my folks place. My old man plays guitar and I wanted to have a cheap setup there permanently so that I didn't need to take gear with me each time I visited.
Summary: I was shopping around for a new amp around the 100watt range for a bit of a small gig / practice amp, and I had a bit of a budget. Looking around I found a few amps within this range that were within budget. I was excited to try this one out but I started playing it in the shop and was horrified.
Pros: really cheap, tilt back design,
Cons: really cheap sounding, not very reliable, not enough strength
Summary: Ahh the much maligned behringer. Its not as bad as people make it out to be- you just have to take it for what it is: a starter amp or a practice amp. It has some pretty nice bells & whistles: preamp in, tape in/out to jam along with a favorite track, 2 channels each with seperate gain controls, a...
Pros: Cheap & loud, with many features not available in this price range
Cons: Tone becomes increasingly muffled when volume is turned up
Summary: I've been using this amp for about two years. I play a Fender jazz 5, a warwick corvette fretless with SD stacked hot jazz p'ups, and an upright bass with fishman full circle p'up. Sad to say, as much as I've grown to hate using and carrying around this little amp, it has served its purpose and paid...
Summary: Wow. Cheap but doesn\'t sound cheap. I like it. Strong enough to play in a 200 person auditorium. with other band members. I love it small enough for practice. and if i need something bigger then chances are there is a PA system. I have and out put for pre amp out and DI/xlr out.
Pros: price, nice tone. good volume
Cons: It doesn\'t sound good out of the box you have to tweak the controls
Summary: A good buy for somebody on a budget or just starting out. I picked up this combo because I didn\'t know how serious I was with playing bass again after a long hiatus. For $199 you get a two channel 120W amp, 12\" speaker, 4 band EQ and an octaver that works really well.
Pros: Inexpensive + Loud= Hard to get these days
Cons: Needs more bottom. Ultrabass tracks poor with sustained notes on G
Summary: I\'m a pretty experienced player and had decided to get a cheap combo to tide me over until I saved for a decent rig. This combo sounded ok when the volume was set at 2 and then rapidly deteriorated for every step up.
Summary: I\'ve had this amp for a year now and am pleased by it, though recently i\'ve been searching for a new sound, and found I can\'t get it with this amp... Else, it\'s a very good amp for the price, good sound and volume. Heavy, though.
Summary: Im looking for an afordable but loud bass amp and i ran across this one while looking on musiciansfriend one day and was just wanting to know if its a good buy for the cheap price it is. Just give me some feedback about this product before i accually go out and buy it.
