  • Summary: I needed a cabinet capable to handle both bass and bass pedal. Since I'm on tight budget I went with this one after trying the 4x10. I'm quite surprised with the results. The 8-10" have a good low freq. response and the mid-high are clear. Connected to a Peavey max preamp i almost get the desired sound with the EQ set flat. It's a heavy cabinet (176 lbs) made of MDF. Ok... I don't recommend it if you plan to drop it from a 4 feet high stage but who does that anyway.
  • Pros: loud and punchy
  • Cons: casters for tilt back,

  • Summary: This is an OK cabinet. gets the job done but its not the best sounding at all. the speakers cant handle what is supposed to handle, 2000 watts. I blew out 2 speakers at 2 separate gigs with a 1000watt hartke head. is good for inside gigs, once you outside and raise the volume it starts farting, and next thing you know you blew a speaker. Finding replacements speakers is impossible also.
  • Pros: Cheap
  • Cons: Speakers can blow easily, not the greatest sound
