Excerpt: I bought two of these AB200's to control the bank scrolling on my GR-33 and my ME-50B. The first thing I did was install a 2.1mm DC input jack so that I wouldn't be a slave to the 9v. battery - I can leave them plugged in all the time. They're powered via my Boss PSA-120 and the a daisy-chain setup that I made myself. The necessary parts are found readily on the 'Net.
Summary: I have yet to figure out how to make this work with my Behringer 5000 PA system. I'll come back and revisit this review with updates. So far, no luck on using it to switch the Fx effects on the system through the mic, for vocal effects.
Summary: I play keys and rhythm and guitar in a cover band and thought this would make my life easier than playing through two amps. It worked fine when it arrived, but it did not last more than 30 minutes during two separate 3-hour rehearsals. On both occasions I was embarrassed to have to manually switch instrument cables between songs because this pedal quit on me.
Summary: This is a quality product and is very versitile. It can be used for two guitars into one amp, or two guitars into two amps. Any combination that you can think of for less than half the price of all other A/B switches. It runs on a 9 volt battery and has different lights for each channel. I would recomend this to anyone looking for a reliable multi-switch for a great price.
