Summary: this is prolly the ONLY product from Behringer for BASS guitar that actually works...i.e. their synth pedal is a horid joke and so is the other one (i forget the name but bought it too..). the problem lies in the fact that the low frequency filters cost alot more so they use the cheaper hi-filters (i.e. works GOOD for regular guitar but SUCK for BASS...). this one filter pedal with a decent head that has EQ can give u that "punchy" sound alrite.
Summary: If you're into high-end or boutique pedals with near to perfect sound , than the BLE100 is probably not for you. However, the pedal certainly works well in limiter mode, as long as you don't push it too hard. The enhancer would sound fine, but the pedal I had added a lot of hiss to the signal, and my EBS stack has a lot of treble so it became a no-no for me.
Pros: Price/performance, decent limiting, good casing
Summary: This is a very nice effect pedal for the price, you can beat it. I know all of Behringer pedals are plastic but I am careful with all of my gear so I do expect to have this for quite some time. I have a total of 5 Behrigner bass pedals and never have had a problem. Again, the price, SWEET!
Summary: perhaps a clone of the boss lmb-3 in plastic housing. works like a limiter/enhancer would it did not add any hiss to my signal unlike what the other person reviewing it said. am ok with the plastic casing as am not gonna be throwing it around..... the ratio knob was slightly a little loose out of the box but works fine good bang for the buck imo! ------------------------------ LESSONS = GAS killers!
