Summary: I purchased this grill in May and absolute love it. It takes about 20 mins on high for the grill to reach maximum temperature. You can sear a steak on it. Love the grill so much that I purchased one for my sister as a birthday present.
Summary: Like other reviewers, came to this out of necessity: condo rules disallow charcoal or gas grills. Had it for 3 years and have cooked steaks, roasts, loins, chops, chickens and of course the usual grill fare of burgers and sausages. All have come out as well as on a charcoal or gas grill (have owned both). The extra cooking time is balanced out by having only to turn a dial to get it ready; no gas canister purchase, no charcoal mess.
Summary: I am 100% satisfied with this electric grill. It is easy to use and easy to clean. Grills are heavy and can be taken into sink to wash. This is a great product. It is a little bigger than I had hoped for, but managable and very useable.
Summary: I was skeptical about buying an electric grill, but I live in a condo and grills with an open flame are not allowed on balconies. This grill exceeded my expectations and cooks food just like a charcoal grill. The price is a little high, but you get what you pay for. It's a really a great product and lives up to the "Weber" name.
Summary: This grill was a little expensive but had great reviews so I gave it a try. Easy to assemble and seems to be well put together. It is a small grill designed to cook for a few people at most but that is what I needed living in a small apartment. Heat was evenly distributed over the grill and it cooked great. It was not as hot as gas or charcoal grills so cooking time was a little longer but caused no problem.
