Summary: Ok, I have learned my lesson. I bought a more expensive grill that really looked great but was a nightmare. Originally I had a Weber and it always worked great, but when I went shopping not many stores were carrying them and the price was high so I bought another grill and used it once and returned it. The Weber is the only one I have ever used that stays lit in windy conditions and cooks to food evenly. This is a great grill, don't buy the imitations.
Summary: I got this thing to take with me on a camping trip, but at the same time I didnt have the $300+ to buy a bigger fancy propane grill for my house. I ended up getting the adapter hose so that I can hook up my big 5 gallon propane tank for home use. I tested this out the other day grilling 5 burger patties and 8 hot dogs. everything came out great as if it was used on a bigger fancy grill with little mess.
Summary: I have never written a review on a product before, but for this product I will make an exception. This grill is a piece of junk. I read all the consumer reviews on this before and thought the grill would be great. That was not my experience. The smallest breeze blows out the flame and you don't even know it until you smell gas. There is also no drip tray so the juices drip all over the table. I had to totally wrap the grill in tin foil to make it work.
Summary: Easy to assemble...very sturdy and built like a weber. cooks great. The igniter works most of the time, but you need to make sure the igniter wire is 1/8 inch from the gas holes on the burner. lights easily and cleans up easy too. Definately worth spending the extra money for a well built table grill.
Summary: Purchased for 1-2 people. Alot hotter than expected. The instructions are difficult for assembly when you have never used or seen a propane set up. The instr. say put dial on high to light but that popped and scared me, so it lit on low-med. I didn't think about it but there are three holes on bottom and no mention of putting a pan under but it needs it. It is more work than I tho't, didn't know with ea.
Summary: I've had this grill for over 5 years. Its been outside in the summer & winter unprotected. It worked fine with little or no maintainence other then dumping the ashes occasionally. It cooked the food just fine. Today the valve was broken probably from this cold snap. I'll buy a new one tomorrow. Highly recommended if you want to cook 4-6 burgers or 2-4 steaks. My only complaint? The ignitor never worked.
