IT WORKS BUT AS THE PLUG IS PART OF THE COOKING SURFACE, YOU MUST TAKE CARE TO CLEAN AND ONCE THE COOKING SURFACE DETERIORATES IT CANNOT BE REPLACED AS IT IS ALSO THE HEATING ELEMENT. COOKS DIFFERENTLY BUT WORKS AND IS FAIRLY WELL MADE AS LONG AS YOU TREAT IT CAREFULLY.

Summary: Terrific indoor grill! More cooking area than most,gives food those appetizing grill marks as well as drains fat away while cooking.I use an old Wok Lid to cover while cooking and this speeds up the process,but it's not necessary.Trust me after you use this grill once you won't ever fry burgers,hot dogs or fish again,and you won't heat up your oven to roast chicken pieces.Excellent product and value!
Summary: I Really like this grill!!! It works great!!! I made Thick steaks and turkey burgers and they came out great! Even on the low setting. They cooked all the way through. Clean up was quick and easy. It is a great grill for indoor grilling and it gives you plenty of room on it to cook a nice amount of food on it at once! Very minimal smoke.
Summary: This grill is great for grilling vegies, or meat, howevever, I grilled a thick steak on it, and found that I had to finish cooking it in the oven. I like my steak rare to medium-rare, and since the grill has no cover, it only allowed for the meat to be seared on the outside, without cooking the middle.
