Summary: I had an older model without the removable plates which I loved and use on an almost daily basis, it was quite old and the non - stick surface had warn badly so I decided to replace it with a new posher one. 1. The power cord is too short. 2. Removable plates are loose fitting causing poor heat transfer. 3. When "ready" the cooking temperature is not high enough to seal meat. 4. Due to low cooking temperature the meat takes too long to cook so it is even drier. 5.
Summary: Having previously owned two different versions of George Foremans' I am somewhat disgruntled with this latest aquisition. It is very femur and does not function as expected in that it takes forever to cook anything. The removable plates are loose and unsecure and difficult to relocate once detached.Have hardly used item since purchase in early January '13.Should have returned but missed 30 day deadline. Very poor quality!!
Summary: I spent hours agonising over which model to buy, opting in the end for a removable grill model (to make it easier to clean). Then of course, having ordered it, there was the build up of excitement waiting for it to be delivered. (Oh come on mr Postman, can't you go any faster, I want my grill) Can you imagine my delight when it arrived 2 days earlier than I expected. Gosh, the tears of joy and excitement nearly ran down my leg (am I allowed to say that?
George Forman 14066 (3 portion) Removaeable Plates Grill

Summary: I originally had a George Forman Grill and thought that the removeable grill plates would be an improvement in the design. However, I found that the upper plate had a habit of dislodging when being replaced after cleaning and this could prove dangerous. The locking mechanism needs to be improved.
