Summary: I bought this, on using my sisters. It cooks great hamburgers & hot dogs. Just like on an outdoor grill. It is kinda big & I lack storage, but well worth having it so far. Does a super job on steaks, I haven't tried it for veggies or fish yet. I would definitely recommend, especially if you have a place to store it.
Summary: To put it simply I love this grill but hate cleaning it. I was excited to get it so I could grill all year and it works great, it really does. the food smells wonderful, but what a pain to clean. I foil line the bottom and that is a cinch to clean up. But the top of the grill is another story. It is not easy to get the grill slots cleaned without stripping the non-stick surface.
Summary: I have used this grill a few times, for shrimp, chicken kebabs, beef kebabs, and grilled veggies. The end result has been excellent. Although it has five heat settings marked on the temperature control, I have used the highest setting throughout cooking for all of the foods I've cooked, and I'm not sure when I would use the lower temperatures, as they do not seem hot enough for grilling.
Summary: I thought I had picked a great choice after reading all of the glowing reviews. NOT! First of all - this thing is HUGE! - -my bad for not reading the specs closer...it is big enough to feed a family of 10! It takes forever to heat up....and takes forever to cook anything. Directions state to use a combination of settings - first 5 - then lower to cook fish, chicken etc. Well...the only time it gets hot enough - is on 5.
Summary: The grill works very well, we have used it many times. it's pretty nice to grill something inside. A lot easier to clean than the George Foreman we were using, I have put the Foreman in the junk pile because of the cleanup issue with it. This grill isn't as fast as the Foreman but makes up for its speed by the versatility it has..
Summary: I had my doubts that this grill would really work as well as described but it really does. I think the key is to pre-heat the grill very well, not just until the "ready' light comes on. This will give you the grill marks. After you turn the meat you can turn the heat down and put the lid on to finish cooking through. I add a little " liquid smoke" to the marinade to give a grilled flavor.
