Pros: It's compact - about the size of your standard waffle cooker.
Cons: This sandwich grill is small, it barely fits two sandwiches side by side. The biggest disappointment was that the grill would not take anything more than a single slice of cheese and even then the resulting product would be smashed flat.
Cuisinart WM-SW2: This Grill is what you want in sandwich preparation
1 July 2013
Summary: This Grill is what you want in sandwich preparation. It delivers all its promises and I can tell you that I was satisfied in the its performance. The all-brown toast sandwich pre-filled with scrambled eggs and sardines came out sealed and ready-to-pack for work. All I did was to put the two slices of the toast and the filler sandwiched in-between and closed the lid. The GREEN LIGHT CAME TWICE and the meal was packed.
Summary: Great product! Use it all the time. The nonstic surface really works. Although hot plate can not be removed for cleaning, the plates nonstick surface allows you to clean with a paper towel or moist rag with no effort. Surface heats up fairly quick. The lock mechanism on the handle allows your sandwich to get an even crisp bread texture, with completely melted cheese on the inside that does not break through the bread. Over all great product!
Summary: This is a cool grill for sandwiches and omelets, but I wouldn't pay more than $10 for it. I really only use it for eggs with onions, bell peppers, and cheese, but it makes the eggs on the outside kind of hard.
Summary: I thought this grill would be great for making hot and crusty sandwiches. I was wrong, it may be just the one I got but this is a piece of junk. The grill would never brown the bread till it was nice and crusty or cook your stuff in the middle. It seemed to get worse every time I used it. Finally it would not heat up at all. The lights would come on but it would not get hot, no matter how long you waited. I gave it one star because I couldn't give less. Don't buy it.
