Summary: I got this under the suggestion of my fiance when i got my new comp. I usually buy budget cards but got this one since it was better and not much more expensive. He runs the same card and hes quite happy with it as well. I will be buying another for my sister inlaws comp soon.
Summary: Cons It's a bit bulky and takes up space, so i had some issues installing it at first Pros: it runs games extremely well, the 2gb of ram really helps with higher resolutions, it's cheap considering it's performance, it has pretty low power requirements, the dual fans are effective in keeping it cool, comes with some molex connectors. I recommend this to anyone who wants to play on pc, but doesn't want to break the bank.
Summary: It is running pretty well and fit SG05 with plenty of space for water cooling rads Though no UEFI means no ultra fast boot in Win 8, and target temperature of 80C is kinda high consider graphic card maker target 70C as normal Of course smaller HSF also means lesser efficient at dispersing heat compare to the big brothers. One of the fan near the GPU is quite warm but the other is quite cool, I think 1 big fan could be more better than 2 smaller fan.
Summary: I upgraded from a 3-year old GTX 460, but I have a mid-tower case, so I’m limited in the length of the video card, and this one fits with room to spare. The 460 would heat up the case somewhat, especially the Northbridge. It even forced an auto-shutdown once when I was lax in keeping the vents/fans clean. The new card runs much cooler. I’ve had it about 5 weeks, and the hottest the Northbridge has gotten is about 64 C after gaming for 4 hours.
Summary: I picked up this card to replace my outdated 8800GS from about 5 years ago. You can get better cards for the price, but it's hard to find the right form factor to fit in the Dell case. This card does a great job playing Bioshock Infinite at the 'UltraDX11' setting with a 1900x1280 resolution. Batman Arkham City plays smooth on 'Very High' settings. Overall, a good purchase but you're paying a premium.
Summary: All in all a very good purchase have enjoyed being able to max or nearly max my games out with good FPS. Besides for the con (which is dealt with the silicon lottery)I have really enjoyed the card will definitely be getting another one when my budget allows me to
Pros: Small, Cheap
Cons: can't get any OC on it with out my games crashing
