ZOTAC GeForce GTX 680 Review

Tech2
14 July 2012
  • Summary: All we can say is Kepler was definitely worth the wait and if you've just bought a HD 7970, then you should shoot yourself in the head right now. The GTX 680 steals the performance crown from AMD and is currently the fastest single card on the block. ZOTAC has taken this beauty and added a ton of value to it with a superb bundle, which I doubt anyone will beat.

ZOTAC GeForce GTX 680 AMP! Edition 2 GB

techPowerUp!
8 May 2012
  • Summary: ZOTAC's GeForce GTX 680 AMP! Edition comes with one of the largest out of the box overclocks on the whole market. Its base clock is 100 MHz higher than the reference design, when conditions allow, it will boost up to 1202 MHz. In our testing this results in a 7% performance increase when averaged over our benchmark suite.
  • Pros: Large performance increase, Massive overclock out of the box, Assassin's Creed triple game bundle, Up to four active displays now, makes surround possible with one card, Low noise in 3D, Support for PCI-Express 3.0 and DirectX 11.1, Support for CUDA and PhysX
  • Cons: High price, Limited additional overclocking potential, Dynamic OC can't be turned off, Manual overclocking more complicated than before, Idle fan noise not reduced, Triple slot design not for all, Heatpipes sticking out of the cooler might not fit all cases, No technology similar to AMD's ZeroCore power

ZOTAC GTX 680s Extreme Overclock in SLI!

Bjorn3d.com
4 April 2012
  • Conclusion: So what’s our bottom line for the two ZOTAC GTX 680s in an SLI configuration? If you are a gaming enthusiast and you need the best eye candy the game offers, along with the best possible gaming experience, there is no question about buying two GTX 680s for your next gaming system. Keep in mind that some of the games we have tested were not maxed out in graphics. This was done to perform a fair comparison against AMD’s graphics cards.
  • Pros: Powerful stock and overclocked graphics performance.Amazing overclocking potential even with stock cooler., Performs faster than three GTX 580s in 3-way SLI with much lower power consumption and heat output., While a GTX 580 was already pretty quite, the ZOTAC GTX 680 has even lower acoustic levels at load

Zotac GeForce GTX680

XSReviews
6 July 2012
  • Conclusion: The GTX 680 has shown itself to be an awesome performer and a great overclocker too, once you understand the dynamic overclocking. The card ripped through every game test and did excellent in the benchmarks too. It does start to make some noise when running tests made to work your card to the max but in gaming you’ll likely rarely hear the card unless you’re really into quiet computing. The supplied bundle was small but what was included was good.
  • Pros: Great performance, Flashy looks, Very Quiet, Runs cool, Dynamic overclocking keeps clocks high
  • Cons: Dynamic overclocking can be annoying if you’re trying to manual overclock, High price

  • Excerpt: AMD's flagship graphics chip , the Radeon GTX 7970, gave us the first glimpse of AMD's new Graphics Core Next architecture. It's said to be carefully designed to work better with the gaming landscape of the future. While an important step forward for AMD's future, this initial airing for the new architecture didn't produce revolutionary results in today's titles.

Тест и обзор: Zotac GeForce GTX 680 AMP! Edition Dual...

hardwareluxx.ru
2 April 2013
