Summary: The card is pretty long so make sure you measure everything out before you buy. I had no problem fitting it & measured beforehand but it would really suck to buy this thing then not even be able to fit it in your case. Also make sure you have at least a 750W power supply, this thing is a power hog.
Pros: So far it looks pretty good. Huge increase in FPS on The Witcher 2 and Fallout New Vegas coming from my old GTS 450. I was somewhat skeptical about ZOTAC just because I've never bought anything from them but their packaging was really well done and the card appears to be well made. I usually buy ...
Cons: Needless to say it's HOT. Idles at around 73c for me, but I also have horrible airflow in my case. This thing is rated to run up to 105c, and after long hours of gaming I haven't seen it go above 92c. However, during Furmark I hit the 100c mark and decided enough was enough and shut it off. I fig...
Summary: Seriously the guy on here talking about getting THREE GTX 480s to replace his QUAD SLI 295s? Ludicrous, the amount of money being spent for such a stupid hobby. I'm a gamer too, and yeah I can only afford a "budget" custom rig, but even if I had extra money $2400+ on JUST the video cards for your...
Pros: I'm sure this card is great, but I didn't buy it.
Cons: Ridiculously expensive but some people get a hard one for that extra thousand points in 3dsysmark.
Summary: With good air flow you can safely overclock these cards pretty nicely. I got mine to 800mhz core without a problem.
Pros: Fast! I have 2 in SLI and they bring games to their knees. I'm able to play with 16xQAA at 1920x1200 in many games and these cards don't break a sweat. Even Crysis is nothing to sweat anymore.
Cons: Runs hot though if you have air conditioning and good air flow it won't be a problem. Also you'll need at least a 700 watt power to run 1 card or over 1,000 watt PSU for SLI. Fan on this card is loud but I use headphones so they don't bother me.
Summary: I new this card was big, but when I took it out of the box I was taken aback by its size. I had to remove the motherboard speaker and change the SATA cables (to low profile ones) to fit the card, and I am unable to fully close the side panel as the connectors and cooling pipes are just too big, so I...
