Zotac GeForce GTX 295

Tech2
12 April 2010
  • Excerpt: ATI’s dual-GPU monster, the Radeon HD 4870 X2, which shattered all records and made its way to the top, finally has a rival that can challenge its might. Yes, we are referring to the brawny GeForce GTX 295 which has finally arrived. This time it was Zotac who was the first to send the retail package to our Test Center. So do you think the new Nvidia beast has enough muscle to outperform the HD 4870 X2 and push it down to second place?

Zotac GeForce GTX 295 1792 MB

techPowerUp!
12 February 2009
  • Summary: When the NVIDIA GT200 GPU was first released, people said it would be impossible to ever build a dual-GPU card based on these chips. NVIDIA got around this dogma by releasing a new version called GT200b, which is made in a 55 nm process reducing power and heat output (and chip cost). The GTX 295 has clearly been designed to take the performance crown and hold it for a while - probably for the better part of this year.
  • Pros: Takes performance crown, Lots of overclocking potential available, Native HDMI output, Nice accessory package, Relatively low power consumption, Support for CUDA / PhysX
  • Cons: Noisy, High price, Based on SLI Technology, only works best when SLI profiles exist, Complex disassembly

Zotac Geforce GTX 295 Single PCB

Hardwareoverclock
14 September 2009
  • Summary: Den ersten GTX 295 Kühler konnte man den Kunden kaum zumuten.

Zotac Geforce GTX 295 Single PCB
