Great product to be lower end

David M., Newegg
29 March 2014
  • Summary: Using this video card on dual DVI monitors on an older i7 with Windows 7 Home Premium. I don't do any gaming or high-end graphics work. Just needed a decent general purpose dual DVI card.
  • Pros: * Works great for general purpose PC work * Installed easily in Windows 7 Home Premium
  • Cons: None so far

Good bang for bucks

Geoffrey D., Newegg
21 January 2014
  • Summary: Bought it for my grandparents's pc so they can watch youtube in high quality and run 1080p display. Does the job at a good price without flaw.
  • Pros: -Quiet -Perform well considering the price
  • Cons: Not really a con, but it's still entry level card. Dont expect to game on this card.

  • Summary: Will most likely buy more just to LAN L4D and Halo 2
  • Pros: Quiet and doesn't run hot. Can run some games but mostly used for L4D and it runs perfectly.

User Review

  • Pros: Got this on sale for backup rig, works great so far.
  • Cons: Didn't come with an adapter to use a full sized hdmi cable, luckily I had a spare. Score is slightly lower than I thought in WEI, but who goes by that anyway..

A great card if you have a good system

Jay Y., Newegg
8 April 2013
  • Summary: I bought this card a few months back when my card went down. I needed a quick easy replacement for cheap. The card has served me better than I expected. My system has 16 gigs of ram and a quad core amd so I believe that has helped my performance.
  • Pros: I have played quite a few games on high settings with this card. Diablo III is the most recent I have played. I played with almost all settings on max. Keep in mind that this card is an entry level card. Your results will not be typical depending on your specs.
  • Cons: Not SLI capable. Can not support more than 2 monitors at a time.

Not Awesome At All

MATTHEW T., Newegg
13 March 2013
  • Summary: Bought 2 of these cards despite the feed back due to my budget, and I should have spent the extra on a Radeon. I've always been with Ati even when Amd bought them out for the pure fact that they make outstanding graphics cards but decided to try Nvidia and that was my worst mistake.
  • Pros: None that I could find
  • Cons: Sadly this card can only play world of warcraft on low settings smoothly. Sad Sad Sad story this card is! Avoid at all costs!!!!!!

Excellent choice for a dual display setup

Jose S., Newegg
13 March 2013
  • Summary: Installed on a Dell Optiplex 755. If you install this card on Windows 8 allow Windows to download and install updates before installing the nVidia drivers. Otherwise, you could get a black screen.
  • Pros: Runs cool and quiet Very low power requirements. It helps speed up video decoding, encoding and conversion if your program is design to take advantages of GPU acceleration.
  • Cons: Could conflict with Windows 8 and you might get a black screen after installing drivers. That issue is not present on Windows 7 or XP.

Not worth it

Raymond S., Newegg
4 March 2013
  • Summary: If I had it to do over again, I'd buy a different card. Also, absolutely DO NOT count on getting the rebate. The process is just ridiculous, and after actually getting through the convoluted mess of submitting the rebate, Zotac still denied my claim (their excuses are pure fiction).
  • Pros: It does indeed display an image. There are no compatibility issues with Windows 7 Pro 64. Very quick shipping from Newegg!
  • Cons: Literally cannot tell the difference, regardless of how intense the action, between this card and my geforce 512mb 32bit card! The fan/heatsink looks nice in the pictures, but in reality they are pretty flimsy and cheap. Beyond that, the fan is super-loud. I have four case fans in this build, and...

Customer service is a joke

Robert S., Newegg
1 March 2013
  • Summary: I had problems with AA in directx games, maybe software, but after trying fixes in Nvidia control panel, I contacted Galaxy with a detailed description of problem, and asking if card could cause that. It takes them 4-5 days, if at all, to respond to an email, or through their website trouble ticket.
  • Pros: pretty
  • Cons: Poor customer service
