Summary: Used this to upgrade the on-board graphics of my Acer desktop. When I received the box it was very, very well packed. I read through the installation manual (even though it's a very straightforward process). And the card was packed in a second box. I bought it used from SabrePC and the only problems it had was that the mounting bracket was a little bent. A pair of pliers fixed that, and it takes up 2 PCI slots. Albeit one of them is a 1x which I will probably never use.
Summary: So I was a little apprehensive when I ordered this card here on Amazon.First of all,the seller only had a used (like-new) Zotac video card left.Second, even though I'm pretty familiar w/PC related hardware,Zotac went under my radar. All in all I took a small risk (I believe $44.99 worth of risk) and ordered the card anyway.
Summary: I used this as a budget video card in a Hackintosh build and it worked fine. I used IAtkos L2 to install Mac OS X and had to use aty init kext with Graphics Enabler selected in options via customized install selections and worked fine.
Summary: Pros: This is probably the best card you will get on a budget PC. If you have more than 3.0ghz and good ram then I can pretty much say that it will run probably anything out there. I am running Borderlands 2 and Black Mesa Source at Max settings with 1024p. Haven't gotten around to testing any other games though. Cons: My card didn't come with the installation disk that it said it came with.
