What to say...

Old Fool, Amazon

  • Summary: I had an internal TV card with 4 Tuners in my PC and there wasn't enough room for a PCI-E graphics card, so, because this card has HDMI, I thought I would try this card in one of the PCI slots. The graphics were not acceptable, so I removed the TV Tuner, installed a "HIS Radeon HD 6670 1GB" PCI-E card and moved to two USB TV Tuners. Perfect. Great picture on my 60" HDTV when watching HD TV channels.

Noisy Fan and No 3rd Monitor Support

Nelson, Amazon
19 September 2012
  • Summary: This review is merely a comparison between this card and the on the fan noise and 3rd monitor support. The fan on my AMD Radeon HD 6870 graphics card has developed a high pitched whine noise. Before I could send it in for repair, I needed an emergency backup card so I bought this. The GT430 worked but had two major problems: 1. The fan was extremely noisy, much louder than the AMD 6870 even when the fan was emitting the whine sound. 2.

Missed this time.

  • Summary: No doubt that it would have worked for anyone else, it just didn't work for me. I had it in a CUDA machine and it couldn't complete tasks on BOINC. Lots of people run these cards and get them to work, but with 295.48 and 6.10.60 it wasn't for me. I'll try again later. By itself the card did display graphics, so if you just need a fast PCI card then this is your way to go.

Fanless graphics card

H.L., Amazon
14 April 2011
  • Summary: Beware HTPC users. This card may lose HDMI audio now and then after 3 months of use. I tried upgrading drives, replacing HDMI cables. Nothing worked short of a reboot. Technical support was useless. I seriously felt like the next question they were going to ask me would be "Is your TV on?" or "Is the HDMI cable plugged in?".
