Summary: I bought this for a multimedia Linux box when the old one failed. Not the latest or greatest, but the performance is adequate and the quality of the component seems fine. The fans on these things usually give out pretty quick if the quality is low. I've been running it 24/7 for months with no problem and with no noticeable fan noise. Did I mention its very inexpensive?
Summary: I bought this as a replacement for the video card which went out in my HP Pavilion Elite Media Center PC. The card was very easy to install. Windows 7 picked it right up. I did not have to install any drivers myself. I run my computer 24/7 with all power saving features turned off, and the video card is holding up quite well.
Summary: I bought this card 8 months ago. Yesterday night, I heard a sharp bang in my desktop, and the screen went dark; followed by the smell of burnt electronics. I opened the case to see a resistor (it says "R0" on the top) popped off the card and sitting on the bottom. Needless to say I'll have to get another one. I have old computers who have been running flawlessly for 8+ years now; nary a problem with them.
Summary: I have purchased four of these for the company I work for for dual monitor setups. They work great and I have had very little trouble out of them. The only problem I have encountered is when using the low-profile-bracket, the parallel cable for the VGA port is a little short, so it might be difficult to use with some low-profile machines. I have these cards in Dell OptiPlex 745, 755, and 780 machines. Note: I did not purchase them from Amazon.
