Pros: I bought this from Newegg only good part of the deal! Nothing to recommend this at all, I installed the card and it acted up from day one, when accessing the nvidia control panel, or changing resolutions the screen blacks out for a couple of seconds, very annoying!
Cons: I don't believe Zotac EVER had any intention of honoring the rebate! I sent, certified mail, all requested materials, they acknowledged reciept and said the rebate was approved, needless to say I never got it, they stiffed me for a lousy ten bucks. Plus I had to pay for cerified mail. Buy from a ...
Pros: The card does the job and was easy to install. Newegg is the best for product detail, manufacturer reference, and customer support. I've purchased a variety of components and have had no negative experience.
Cons: Do NOT, repeat, do NOT ever fall for any rebate offer from Zotec. I provided all required rebate material for an offer in August of 2009 abd waited beyond the 8 to 12 weeks for a rebate. They do not respond to email and I am certain they would have no answer if there were a product problem. Avoid...
Summary: I got this to upgrade a co-workers computer. It originally had a FX5200 128mb & 3DMark03 score of 1067. With this GF6200 it shot up to 2317! It also improved the CPUMark from 529 to 725. MSI MS-6741 AMD Althon 64 2800+ 1x1024MB DDR400 Realtek AC97 Windows XP Professional SP3
Pros: Best $33 upgrade I've spent on a older AGP system. Uses newest drivers from Nvidia (195.62), compared to older card FX5200 (175.19). Looks like it can be used in a half height system. Vastly improved Flash Video playback on site like Hulu or YT, YAY no more choppyness & screen tearing!
Cons: None yet so far, it's a great lil card! Besides no half height bracket..who has those funky systems anyway...?
Summary: The card appears nice enough for an 'older' pc upgrade. The heatsink seems reasonable for a video card in it's price range. After multiple correspondence with nVidia customer service, it was determined the card may have had bad hardware on it.
Pros: Affordable. Friendly, prompt customer service from nVidia. Displays on standard monitor without drivers. Drivers from CD install without problems. I really wanted to be able to say more about this cards display ability here but, unfortunately, I can not.
Cons: Not compatible with particular motherboard. Certain 3D/background graphics will not display. S-vid out displays in PAL format unless driver are installed and Windows has started. I can not blame the card completely, as my Asus (AV8-X) motherboard has had slight quirks with other hardware as well.
Summary: THANKS ,TO NEWEGG AND THE BUYING INFORMATION THEY PROVIDE.
Pros: PUT THE CARD IN COMPAQ SR1230NX ,RUNNING WINDOWS XP.UNPLUGGED POWER ,OPEN THE CASE ,REMOVED THE AGP BACK SLOT PLUG.INSTALLED THE CARD.POWERED UP ,MOVED VGA CORD TO CARD ,BANG UP AND RUNNING.DROPPED IN THE CD LOADED SOFTWARE.LOOKS GREAT.5 MINUTE INSTALL .SUPER EASY.
