Ehhh

stephen n., Newegg
7 September 2013
  • Summary: Overall a decent card just not up to par in today's world.
  • Pros: Good for basic computer functions and light gaming.
  • Cons: Do not expect to play heavy load games on high or even medium settings with this video card. Your FPS will leave you skipping across the screen.

Not likely for high-end.

Anonymous, Newegg

  • Pros: It is a good card, it is very good for multimedia system but if you take for a gaming purpose there will be a lack of performance.
  • Cons: It is silent and quite, but it will really heat up even if you don't overclock it for more precise performance. But overall a good card and might play some old games, but I doubt it might be able to play high-end games too.

Ok Price, but poor performance

Guy B., Newegg
18 May 2012
  • Summary: I would only recommend getting this if you have an older machine. Instead if you want to get an inexpensive card buy a 5550 or 5570.
  • Pros: The price is somewhat in expensive.
  • Cons: The wei is 4.1 and 5.6. Which is similar to some onboard graphics.

Great little card / DOA

Brian M Wise, Amazon
14 February 2012
  • Summary: I like to build media PCs for friends and family - this is a great little MediaPC card for a full-height system (IE, if you're putting it in a low-height case, this is not the video card for you.

Adequated for HTPC, dissapointing for gaming

Scott Wells, Amazon
6 December 2011
  • Summary: I purchased this card to upgrade from Intel integrated graphics on a 2009 Gigabyte G45 motherboard. The integrated graphics were struggling with 3D games such as Gone Home, even on low settings.

You get what you pay for!

Anonymous, Newegg
2 December 2011
  • Summary: Bought this to replace a 4850 I had in my kids PC, didn't check the bit rate for the card, was quick to order to get them into the game (so they wouldn't use mine!) 32-bit does not equal smooth game for BF3 remember that!
  • Pros: Good DX11 Compliant card.
  • Cons: 32-bit not good for pushing frame rates or effects on Battlefield 3!

Patience and glue needed

J. J. Sartori, Amazon
21 October 2011
  • Summary: After I resolved the mechanical problems the card works well. The short brackets with punch-out screw holes for cable connectors are not properly aligned with the board components. The HDMI affixing screw cannot be used with the DVI port attached!

Underwhelming But Win8.1 Compatible and Minecraft Looks a Bit Better

mokitree, Amazon
21 October 2011
  • Summary: First off, I'm not a PC gamer (prefer consoles). I bought this to replace a RADEON HD 3850 (256MB) when I couldn't find Catalyst software that worked with my planned upgrade to Windows 8.1-64 in my Shuttle XPC SX58J3 (Older generation Intel i7, 16MB RAM).

HD 6450

M. Squires, Amazon
2 May 2013
  • Summary: I bought this as I needed a cheap graphics card on the house desktop to improve things beyond on-board graphic chip. It's miles better than that but could be better considering the 2gb of on-board ram.
