Underwhelming But Win8.1 Compatible and Minecraft Looks a Bit Better

Summary: First off, I'm not a PC gamer (prefer consoles). I bought this to replace a RADEON HD 3850 (256MB) when I couldn't find Catalyst software that worked with my planned upgrade to Windows 8.1-64 in my Shuttle XPC SX58J3 (Older generation Intel i7, 16MB RAM).
Summary: After I resolved the mechanical problems the card works well. The short brackets with punch-out screw holes for cable connectors are not properly aligned with the board components. The HDMI affixing screw cannot be used with the DVI port attached!
Summary: I liked the effects of the card, even tho I am using win 7 the driver disk seemed incompatable, so ended up downloading the software online to be able to use. really like that I can use my tv as a monitor via hdmi
Summary: I purchased this card to upgrade from Intel integrated graphics on a 2009 Gigabyte G45 motherboard. The integrated graphics were struggling with 3D games such as Gone Home, even on low settings.
Summary: I purchase this graphic card for my low profile HTPC at home. Its HDMI low profile bracket coming with the package is not for this video card. I will have to go through XFX RMA process. This is a DOA card. Unfortunately, when I identify its intermittent error, it has passed 30 days return period.
Pros: It is a good card, it is very good for multimedia system but if you take for a gaming purpose there will be a lack of performance.
Cons: It is silent and quite, but it will really heat up even if you don't overclock it for more precise performance. But overall a good card and might play some old games, but I doubt it might be able to play high-end games too.
Summary: I like to build media PCs for friends and family - this is a great little MediaPC card for a full-height system (IE, if you're putting it in a low-height case, this is not the video card for you.
Summary: I bought this as I needed a cheap graphics card on the house desktop to improve things beyond on-board graphic chip. It's miles better than that but could be better considering the 2gb of on-board ram.
Summary: I had to send this card back, although nothing wrong with it as such, the heat sink was pretty large and got in the way of other plugs and wires on the motherboard so I didn't actually get to see how it performed.
