Not a good option for Linux based XBMC builds.

D. Raines, Amazon
14 December 2014
  • Summary: I purchased this to replace a Radeon 5670 in my HTPC. It worked but I am running OpenElec XBMC and it would not pass through HD audio stream to my receiver. My previous card would do it once and then hang up. It would appear ATI Radeon cards don't like to play with Linux and HD audio.

Shows up as Radeon HD 7450 in Device Manager

Snausage, Amazon
18 December 2013
  • Summary: Windows Experience index went down to 4.2 for Aero Desktop Graphics when replacing an older NVidia GT240. Not sure if its me or the card. Overall I notice no improvement or degradation in my HTPC.

Would not configure in a new HP Z220 Workstation

Linda N Lane, Amazon
11 December 2013
  • Summary: Would not configure in a new HP Z220 Workstation. I am an IT professional and spent over an hour and a half trying to get it to work on more than one monitor. There is no technical support for this hardware. Very disappointing. The item I got to replace it worked flawlessly.

Warning: DVI-I port actually works only as a DVI-D port, so wont work with VGA adapters

ElectronicFur, Amazon
21 May 2014
  • Summary: The DVI-I port that you can see in the photo of this card actually only works as a DVI-D port. It does not send both digital and analogue signals like a DVI-I port should. There is a warning note in the box telling you of this fact, and that it wont work with standard DVI to VGA adapters.

No Low Profile Bracket

Sean Potter, Amazon
3 March 2014
  • Summary: The description states that a low profile bracket is contained, but when it turned up, the box doesn't have one listed on the box! I bought this to go in my new HP N54L Microserver. I've now had to buy a separate bracket to get this card to fit.

No good for HP microserver

Chris H, Amazon
5 February 2014
  • Summary: Bought this on the back of the product description and a couple of reviews indicating the cards had been fitted to the HP microserver which needs a low-profile bracket. Unfortunately the one shipped to me did not include the required bracket and the 'box includes: ' notes on the side of the box did...

Dont waste your time

Doc "j2sxy", Amazon
6 January 2014
  • Summary: This card is not really an upgrade. As others have found, it actually drops your WEI scores. Check out my review on the Sapphire HD6670 that I purchased and see the difference. Yes I know the HD6670 is twice the price, but what's the point in downgrading your system for the sake of £30.

SEHR lahme Grafikkarte

PedroMunich "Peter", Amazon
13 May 2014
