Cons: after owning it for over a year it seem to have taken a turn ,it works, but alot of my games are messed up, random lines coming from items and such, crashing and all good for low end gaming to not wear it out
Summary: Try another brand! Or be prepared to buy an aftermarket heatsink.
Pros: Solid craftsmanship. Great performance for price. Low wattage requirement. Plays Starcraft 2 on ultra with really good frame rates (i3-3220 processor).
Cons: So incredibly loud. The fan howls even at 10% throttle. I thought it was the fan noise against the aluminum casing, or the odd shaped rear vents. In fact, the fan is just really loud. Whatever type of bearing they are using is not working well.
Summary: I originally thought my 1 Cooler Master case fan (the rest are Xigmateks) was making this noise and erroneously blamed it on that fan, however I now see it is this fan making the noise.
Pros: Very decent performance on today's games. Perf. vs cost is great.
Cons: Fan started making horrible noises recently that I have never heard a fan make before. Flicking the center of the fan silences it for awhile. This makes this card the single loudest thing in my computer by a large margin. This is not a typical "noisy fan" scenario, something is definitely wrong h...
Summary: With new cards coming out from both AMD and Nvidia I would wait and avoid purchasing this card.
Pros: This card offers good performance for the price.
Cons: The single fan is very, very loud under load. This card doesn't stay very cool even at stock clock speeds. The free dirt 3 game that came with it was a pain to get. First I had to wait a week once I entered the code online. Then I got emailed another code that I had to enter again on the same sit...
Summary: If you want this card for gaming on 1 monitor... great, just don't try and get a 3 monitor eyefinity going, buy something else
Pros: It came with Deus ex: human revolution, plays games really well for the price... Not the reason I purchased it, I give it one egg for the game, and 2 more eggs for playing it well.
Cons: I purchased this card in order to run 4 monitors, forget it, I can't even have 3. I purchased all the adaptors, used the display port (made it my main) and 2 DVI, and still use 3 monitors(it detects all 4 plugged in, just won't let you use more than 2). I just purchased another exact same card fo...
