Amazing low-mid budget card.

Daniel G., Newegg
18 November 2015
  • Summary: This card has served me well over the 5 years I've owned it. I've definitely put it through it's paces and it went alright. I am only just now upgrading to a GTX 960 so I can run Fallout 4.
  • Pros: Plug this baby into a fast, optimized system, and it will impress you. Provided you have that, this card can run most games at Medium settings, even High if it's optimized well. It runs Warframe at Med-High settings like a champ, and can even run Battlefield 3 with no problem.
  • Cons: Do not expect Ultra performance, this ain't that. It's a $70 card, and is kinda just meant for CAD stuff. Also, this card is a bit old by now, you may not meet the minimum for some newer applications/games.

  • Pros: I use Linux and FreeBSD almost exclusively, so I needed a good-performing and compatible video card to replace my older AMD and Nvidia cards. This card is a very nice step up from the AMD HD 5450 I was using. The 5450 couldn't get out of its own way when running on FreeBSD and was just barely ade...
  • Cons: None so far.

  • Summary: So I needed to replace my GeForce 240 card which was overheating for some reason and cause my system to hang and the screen to go black, along with other error codes I was getting.
  • Pros: Way simple to install, super quiet
  • Cons: fan unit may be a problem for some
