mainly because my son wanted a few games to work better. Goat simulator

Big Helper "acwilson", Amazon

  • Summary: Just nabbed 3 of these for my Acer Aspire AX3400G-U4802 desktops, mainly because my son wanted a few games to work better. Goat simulator, minecraft, garysmod, etc. He's very happy now, ahh to be 10 again... Lots of peeps saying a larger power supply is needed. Hint - use a kill-a-watt meter and compare the energy being pulled before and after. It's common, most people think they need more than they really do... Yes, it works 100% fine with the stock 220 watt PSU.

1080p

Kevin Jiang, Amazon
4 June 2014
  • Summary: Pretty good video card. Can run only two monitors at a time unfortunately. I was hoping the increased ram would make up for my mobo's inability to run two GPUs and let me run 3 or 4 monitors for multitasking. But this one can run only two. Still, the quality is pretty good. Left for Dead 2 lagged when at max visual settings, so this GPU isn't the best. Still pretty good though.

Excellent Dual Graphics

Zachary S., Amazon
22 March 2014
  • Summary: I bought this card to run dual graphics mode with my amd a10-5800k, and im sure glade I did. Together I can play just about any game in med-high settings. One thing I should of checked before purchase is my psu. I can run the card on stock clock speeds but even the slightest OC my psu cant supply enough juice. But the boost in performance was still pretty outstanding! I would recommend to anyone looking for a descent card.

User Review

  • Summary: I bought this card for a refurbished Dell Optiplex. I knew the built in graphics on the motherboard would not support our needs so I wanted to kick them up a notch. You can see this card has a double-wide flange in front and a rear tail fin - these didn't fit into the available space inside this modest workstation so they had to be clipped off.

Works well in my computer

Bayou Reader, Amazon
21 February 2014
  • Summary: Required a better video card for VMWare Virtual Machine running Windows 7 under Ubuntu Linux. Was easy to install and setup, ran fine under Ubuntu Linux and met the minimum specs for running the Windows Virtual Machine. Not a gamer, so I cannot rate it for gaming graphics, however for what I required, this video card fit the bill.

Good product and performance at a good price

G. T. "GT", Amazon
19 November 2013
  • Summary: A decent video card that won't break the bank. Got this for a build for my brother--he is happy with it, and performs well for his use [not heavy gaming]. This unit is fairly energy efficient, and doesn't require extra power-input connection, as I recall. Also pretty quiet and runs fairly cool.

Greate Upgrade

Alton, Amazon
31 October 2013
  • Summary: I was using onboard graphics and needed something with 3D, the fact that it has HDMI out was a bonus: video and sound to my monitor, works out great.
