Summary: I need to step up and buy a better card in the future. This card gets the job done, I am not a gamer, but I do watch a lot of DVD movies and do a lot of streaming movies and youtube. I might up my rating when I try with the new Samsung 1080P screen I bought as a replacement for my current LG 720P TV that I am using as my monitor.
Summary: The video card in my HP desktop PC quit working and I picked this one up and it works OK. I wish now I would have bought the more expensive and faster video card. The old video card that died, was faster than this one.
Summary: Took this card to a computer shop to install as part of a computer upgrade. No problems with the install. Got it home and tried to hook up two monitors. The first (VGA) did fine but could not get the second monitor to run using the DVI slot.. Win 7 would not recognize it. The tech tried different cables, reloading and updating the drivers - nothing worked.
Summary: Can not drive three monitors from the three video ports at the same time, any 2 of the 3 only. Small print basically says more than two monitors need to use display port and daisy capable monitors. Disappointed, will return and find another.
Summary: This is a very small upgrade from my HIS 4670 GPU. I mostly got this GPU because it is newer with better drivers, more features and 3D capability. Game-wise I only see a slightly better frame rate, but I knew that when I was buying this. The 3D worked well with youtube videos, but I have not had the time to play a 3D game yet. The fan on this GPU is drowned out by my chassis fans so there is no noise problem.
Summary: The Card: Bought this for my custom PC 3 months ago, so far no complaints. Far outperforms my old system. The Seller: It came with a 20$ rebate, and they sent me a gift card, with a 1$ activation fee. So it's really only a 19$ rebate....
Summary: it is a graphics card. i am not a gamer but process a lot of photographs using lightroom and thought i needed more processing power. i think i prefer the nvidia software. the amd/ati stuff is less intuative.
Summary: i bought this becasue of restrrictions on my psu (~400w). Also no extra cables required as it draws power directly from the motherboard. Just an average card doing average gaming for a less than average gamer. Nothing to get too excited about. I bought it to replace my hd 4670 which conked out after 4 years. If I had time/money and know-how I would have upgraded my psu unit (to 600+w) and consider a better graphics card x7xx or higher.
