Summary: I bought the same gpu in 2011 here by xfx, but it had 1 gig of ddr5 memory (XFX HD-667X-ZAF3 Radeon HD 6670). That I'm guessing is the huge difference in performance between the two cards. The card with 1 gig of ddr5 is great. The ddr5 rates 7.1 on the windows scale this card 6.7.
Pros: 1 slot card
Cons: Card struggles streaming even streaming standard def video. Games? Look elsewhere.
Summary: Ok card if you just want a fast one that's cheap and works. Horrible for gaming and an ultimate sin for graphics creation in my experience with it.
Pros: It's cheap. And it works.
Cons: Yes, it works. But the: - Lighting quality - Color quality SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! If there are shadows or what you're watching wasn't brightly lit when it was shot the screen may as well just be black. Can't see a thing! Same issue for games. Those shadowed areas in corners where the special items are h...
Summary: Although defective, it was still useable, video upload was quick, played Swtor smoothly and had no problems playing movies, and operation is quiet. If my next card is the exact same after rma, still will leave my review opened minded to a more positive review if it works.
Pros: Plays Swtor on highest settings around 50 fps, no lag noticeable visual upgrade from a Nvidia gt 520
Cons: Was defective on arrival, horrible pixelization for regular, video, and gaming use. will have to RMA
Summary: I understand I am working with an older PC, but there isn't any legitimate reason why the card should not work. The guiding standards are inclusive; the card should be able to do anything the X800 or even the X1950 Pro card before it could handle.
Pros: Well constructed, solid feeling card.
Cons: Trying to use it in older PC. It boots, but I can tell 2D video update is slow compared with ATI X800 card previously installed. 3D is not working at all, in fact, DxDiag reports Direct3D not available.
Summary: It's a generally weak card, but cheap. If all you need is a super cheap video card tthat will let you play low end games it's okay, but as a crossfire card with the APUs from AMD it does not let you play your games at a higher quality, just play them better at the level you already can play them.
Summary: This didn't work much better than the junk that originally came on my computer. It crashed on me after less than 2 years. It has a lifetime warranty but I don't want another refurbished replacement - I want my cash back!
