Richard P., Newegg
22 December 2014
  • Pros: Honestly this card has been amazing i couldn't of asked for a better one. i bought this about 5 years ago and it has survived threw 2 PC builds and has been overclocked since day 1 and i never have had one problem with it. although it still runs like a beast today it is starting to get very outda...

Great, but outdated

Rory O., Newegg
13 August 2014
  • Pros: Has held up strong for me for years to the likes of BF3, BF4, Modern Warefare, Borderlands, Crysis. Couldn't really run anything on super high settings but enough for me at the time. Outdated now, I have just finally upgraded to a GTX 770. Went back to my first love of nVidia. AMD makes some nice...
  • Cons: Outdated, no longer available I believe?

Awesome

Dave J., Newegg
8 August 2014
  • Summary: Thank you XFX and Newegg for your help over the years, I gave up on Ejay Items bout' 5 years ago, and only buy from newegg, aZon, or Tiggerdirect anymore.
  • Pros: Great card, Awesome support from XFX, they are truly one of the best companies out there right now as far as honoring thier warranty, like BFG was, with Nvidia cards, XFX is with AmD cards. I have had this card since it was released, I bought it from Newegg like 4 years ago, and in the last 3 mon...
  • Cons: Umm fan noise is the only deal, but I can deal with that with how reliable the card has been over the years. It's been in 3 of my computers' and I have handed it down to my boy, and upgraded his computer and now It sit's in my computer(4th build) until I can afford an upgrade for it...Just proof ...

WORKHORSE!

Bradley S., Newegg
26 November 2013
  • Summary: If you do need to take this card apart to clean it, it's fairly strait forward. Really do not have to be a tech savy person to figure it out!
  • Pros: Great card! I've had this card for over two years now and it still handles EVERYTHING I throw at it! I still have been able to play BF3 on high and 1680x1050 at 40FPS and it runs at a nice cool 70c max! I've loved the durability of this card as well as the easy overclocking using MSI Afterburner....
  • Cons: I did have to take apart the card to clean the heatsink and I did end up having to replace the thermal gel at the end of the second year, but with just a little bit of love and maintenance this card keeps going and going and going!

You should know what you're doing...

Ashley D., Newegg
13 October 2013
  • Summary: I didn't put this under cons because it's not a "con" and I knew what I was getting. This card, and all next gen cards unless stated otherwise, are large. I do think they could work on simplifying or reducing the area and power consumption, but as it stands now, it's in a HTPC case from Lian Li.
  • Pros: - It's survived through two Intel builds, one that just became outdated, and the other had a cpu cooling issue. - I've never had a heat warning or blue screen. - Easy install.
  • Cons: None.

Good stuff

Anthony G., Newegg
2 August 2013
  • Summary: I've had two of these cards in crossfire for about 4 years and have had zero problems with them. So as far as I'm concerned, they've been bulletproof. I've since replaced them but they are still in duty in a friend's pc and in another pc of mine.
  • Pros: Low cost, great value
  • Cons: No room for a 3rd on my mb.

  • Pros: This is a great card I have had it for in the area of 2 years now, have had no serious issues with it. See cons for issue I did have. runs everything wonderfully.
  • Cons: Recently the card had become very loud and quite warm..I was like ..is the fan going out whats the deal here. I have blown it out with canned air before but it appears thats not quite good enough, you have to take the hood off..and becareful doing it because its easily broken if not careful. I pu...

  • Summary: I purchased this thing about 3 years ago. It has been in several computers in the house and at work. I have never had a problem out of it. It still runs great. I am almost sorry it didn't break so I could take advantage of the XFX double lifetime warranty. ;)
  • Pros: A great long lasting card.
  • Cons: Always ran a little warm.

3 years of pwnage!

Kenneth M., Newegg
25 August 2012
  • Summary: I'd still buy it if I wanted to save money and not need it for the newest games.
  • Pros: Was a really good card back in its day. With nice supporting hardware, this card CAN play BF3 with satisfactory results.
  • Cons: After 3 years of solid overclocking this card is dieing. Overheating.
